JBL C222-BOT Bottom LF Section Only — Cinema ScreenArray
The C222-BOT is the lower bass cabinet of JBL Professional’s compact two-piece ScreenArray cinema loudspeaker system. This bottom section houses the low-frequency driver and forms half of a purpose-built solution for medium-sized control rooms, mixing suites, and mastering stages where shallow mounting depth is essential. The top section (C222-TOP) is sold separately and required to complete the system.
Low-Frequency Performance in the Mix
The C222-BOT integrates a 15-inch M115-8A driver with a 2.5-inch voice coil dedicated to bass and lower-midrange reproduction. When paired with the C222-TOP, the complete system delivers 33 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 103 dB free-field sensitivity, enabling accurate monitoring across studio and mastering environments without requiring external amplification to maintain reference-level output during critical listening and mix decisions.
Compact Design for Studio Installations
The C222 ScreenArray occupies just 12 inches in depth, making it ideal for control rooms and edit bays where space behind or above monitoring arrays is severely limited. The system employs Dual Dissimilar Arraying and Acoustic Aperture technologies to maintain coherent imaging across the listening field, with 100-degree horizontal and 60-degree vertical coverage suited to medium control-room layouts and sweet-spot accuracy.
