The JBL 4732-M/HF-T is the upper mid and high-frequency cabinet of JBL’s professional cinema ScreenArray system, engineered for premier monitoring in mastering suites, post-production facilities, and reference studio environments. This tri-amplified section delivers articulate midrange clarity and extended high-frequency response, designed to integrate seamlessly with the separate low-frequency 4739 section for full-range production monitoring and critical listening.
Driver Configuration & Sensitivity
Four 165H 6.5-inch midrange transducers with 38 mm voice coils handle the critical midband with transparency and detail, while a single 2432H 75 mm titanium diaphragm compression driver with 38 mm exit manages high frequencies with precision. Tri-amplified configuration yields 109 dB SPL sensitivity (MF) and 115 dB SPL sensitivity (HF) at 2.83 V / 1 m, ensuring efficient, clean coupling to precision studio amplifiers and enabling extended monitoring sessions without fatigue.

The 4732-M/HF-T operates across 40 Hz to 19 kHz (±3 dB) when integrated into the complete system, with crossover points set at 250 Hz and 1.2 kHz for seamless handoff between sections and accurate mix translation. Vertical coverage spans 20 degrees up / 30 degrees down, and 90-degree horizontal coverage optimizes stereo imaging and consistent response across the mixing position.
