The C222HP-TOP is the upper section of JBL’s professional C222HP two-way cinema loudspeaker, engineered for medium to large cinema installations, post-production studios, and dubbing stages. This B-Stock unit is fully functional with factory warranty, though it may show signs of open-box handling or minor cosmetic wear. Note that this top section requires pairing with the separately sold C222HP-BOT lower section and a bi-amp power amplifier to form a complete system.

The complete system (both sections combined) captures and reproduces a frequency response of 44 Hz–18 kHz (–3 dB) and 40 Hz–20 kHz (–6 dB), with asymmetrical vertical coverage of 60° (+25/–45° at 4 kHz) and 100° horizontal coverage—critical for precise placement in mix rooms and mastering suites where accurate speaker positioning controls reflections and maintains consistent translation. The C222HP-TOP integrates the high-frequency section with two 2515XP-J drivers and a dedicated horn, plus one of the two 2275H-BK low-frequency drivers. The system operates in biamp-only configuration, with 4 Ω LF nominal impedance (1200 W AES power handling) and 8 Ω HF nominal impedance (85 W AES power handling), enabling separate amplifier channels for transparent crossover control, independent EQ adjustment, and consistent headroom across your session workflow.
