Sabian 20″ HHX Complex Aero Crash
This crash delivers a responsive, articulate attack with immediate projection in the mix—the thin, loose construction cuts through quickly without sacrificing the deep, complex character Sabian built into the HHX Complex line. The Aero hole design brightens the top end while the underlying HHX Complex hammering preserves the darkness and low-end body that defines this series. For tracking and mixing, a crash with both snap and soul strikes a genuinely rare balance.
Tone & Character for Recording
The 20-inch size carries boosted highs from the Aero design alongside the rich, dark lows characteristic of HHX Complex cymbals. This combination punches decisively into a mix while maintaining the sweetness and complexity that separates polished cymbal recordings from generic brightness—essential for producing tracks with real character.
Construction & Design
B20 Bronze material combined with a proprietary blend of HH and HHX hammering and a hammered bell gives this cymbal its signature tonal depth. The quite thin, loose profile enables fast, controllable response and makes it equally effective in overdub sessions and tracking live drums in the studio.
