When a Child Is Born (Soleado)

This beautiful song recorded by Andrea Bocelli can be performed any time of year, but the hope-filled lyrics are especially uplifting for December concerts. “A ray of hope flickers in the sky, a tiny star lights up way up high. All across the land dawns a bright new morn. This comes to pass, when a child is born.” Available separately: SATB, Chamber Orchestra score and parts (fl, ob, hn 1, 2, perc, pno, vn 1, vn 2, va, vc, b), ShowTrax CD. Duration: ca. 2:40.
