To Cast a Shadow: All Alone – COMPACT DISCS

2008 debut album from the Norwegian Metal band. All Alone features nine tracks of dark, melodic and doomy Metal. To Cast a Shadow’s sound has evolved over time, through a fusion of several diverse influences including bands like Type O Negative, Anathema, Terje Rypdal, My Dying Bride, Tool, Paradise Lost, the 3rd and the Mortal, and of course, Black Sabbath. The sound was complete when the reputable Grammy Nominated folksinger Camilla Granlien joined the band in 2006 and added her unique vocal style to their sound. To Cast a Shadow is driven by a passion for music and a desire to make music that matters to themselves; and thus, hopefully, also to others. Hamar.
