The SoundSwitch Micro DMX Interface is a simple, plug-and-play cable that connects your DMX lighting equipment to your computer using a USB Type-A port. It allows full control of your lighting setup through the SoundSwitch software.

It features a 3-pin XLR connector, which is standard for most DJ lighting gear. If you’re working with 5-pin DMX devices, you can use a common 3-to-5-pin adapter (not included). A blue LED on the USB plug confirms that the connection is active.

The interface comes with a 3-month SoundSwitch software subscription, letting you immediately start creating beat-synced light shows. It works seamlessly with Serato DJ, Virtual DJ, and Engine Prime.

The latest SoundSwitch version 2.2 includes significant upgrades:

  • Advanced Lighting Automation: You can now assign roles to each fixture (Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Strobe/Blinder), allowing complex, multi-layered shows to be created in seconds using the improved AutoScript engine.

  • Automated Phrase Detection: The software automatically detects key musical moments like intros, drops, breakdowns, bridges, and build-ups, so your lights follow the music preciselyno manual editing required.

  • Updated Interface: The user interface has been refreshed with a cleaner design and a new Automation Settings window with ready-to-use presets and more control options.

  • Broader Hardware Support: Version 2.2 now supports Denon DJs standalone gear such as SC6000, SC6000M, PRIME 2, PRIME GO, and the X1850 mixer. A new Engine OS option simplifies integration.

  • Additional improvements include the ability to duplicate venues, copy and paste between tracks, edit beat grids (double, halve, or clear), and overall software stability enhancements.
