Planet Mu kicks off 2010 with an energetic blast from one of the UK’s most original producers. Hailing from the south coast and now based in Birmingham, Raffertie is a 21-year-old DJ / producer who weaves the DNA of multiple dance music micro-genres into an exuberant chimera. His work has garnered much acclaim from the likes of Simon Reynolds and Mary Anne Hobbs. The musician’s sugar-rush sound takes a turn in a different direction with his latest release.
