Project Mayhem: Project Mayhem – COMPACT DISCS

Combining high energy punk with hurtlin’ rock ‘n’ roll choruses and epic riffs, Project Mayhem is an entirely listenable and hugely catchy release. It’s juxtapositions all round. More hooks than a Japanese long-liner. Punk edge routed in a definite pop sensibility. The lyrics alternate between good-time party anthems, and genuinely thoughtful post-Orwellian dissertation. There’s a little something for everybody in this release.
