Muzzle is a compact analog low-pass filter and low-pass gate built around handmade vactrols and a smooth 12dB/octave slope. Its resonance control ranges from subtle warmth to rich, bubbly acidity, with self-oscillation kicking in just past the midway point.

When pushed into self-oscillation, Muzzle becomes an expressive sound source on its ownespecially when triggered via the ping input, which excites both the filter frequency and resonance. This input also engages an internal circuit that introduces added grit and saturation, visually indicated by the white LED. The result is an organic, lively response perfect for shaping percussive tones or breathing life into otherwise sterile signals.

Whether youre filtering synth voices or designing drum sounds, Muzzle offers character, dynamics, and analog unpredictability in a small footprint.
