The 175F-2Manfrotto Cold Shoe Spring Clamp is a versatile lightweight clamp that enablesthe user to safely and securely position key accessories in off cameralocations that would not always be possible using a traditional supportsolution such as a lighting stand. The clamp features a number of useful fixingpoints allowing the user to attach essential lightweight accessories such as aSpeedlite flashgun, a small LED panel or an audio mic.

Weighing inat only 350g the clamp incorporates an extremely strong spring mechanism whichensures a tight grip on a range of different surfaces or objects, boasting apayload of up to 2kg. The clamps jaws extend to accommodate a maximum diameterof 40mm allowing it to easily attach to a pole, a shelf, the back of a chair oreven the branch of tree to name just a few of the many possibilities. Theinside of the spring clamps jaws feature a number of durable hard rubber studswhich provide further grip, particularly useful on irregular shaped surfaces.

Fixed to theclamp is a reliable, multi position Manfrotto centre ball head with full panand tilt movement. Once the clamp is attached to the chosen surface, a singlelocking knob on the ball head then allows the user to precisely position theaccessory at the correct angle and with a simple twist lock it firmly inposition. On top of the ball head is Manfrotto’s highly acclaimed shoe mountmechanism. This unique mount allows the user to easily and securely, fastentheir chosen accessory to the ball head. Simply unscrew the ring to open theshoe, slide in the accessory, then tighten the ring to lock it firmly to theball head.

In additionto the ball head, the clamp also features a 5/8” (16mm) socket and a 5/8”(16mm) spigot with 3/8” female thread providing the option to attach anadditional accessory or for the clamp to be attached to a light stand orsupport arm.
