Killawatt & Ipman – Darkplace – 12 Vinyl

Tempa pair two of dubstep’s most promising producers on a dreadnaught double header. With the Garth Merenghi-referencing ‘Darkplace’ they lock down to techiest drums and swooping subs inna taut, minimalist framework nodding to the classic ’05/’06 template. Underneath, their ‘Sur Place’ barrels forward on a stop/starting techno steppers’ mission cut with duppied darkisde voices and echo-chamber FX.
