ESP LTD EC-01FT Black Lefty Electric Guitar
The EC-01FT Lefty is built to deliver focused, articulate recordings with its set-thru mahogany construction and Thin U neck contour that balances comfort with stability for precise, repeatable tracking. This left-handed instrument combines refined aesthetics with performance-driven engineering, making it an excellent foundation for a home studio setup—versatile across multiple session styles, with serious tonal range and easy upper-fret access for overdubs and layering.
Construction for Studio Capture
The flat-top mahogany body paired with three-piece mahogany neck and set-thru construction delivers enhanced sustain and effortless access to higher positions—critical for clean takes on rhythm and lead passes. The 24.75″ scale length and 43mm nut width provide a comfortable, stable feel that translates to consistent performance during extended recording sessions, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets ensures reliable, durable playability across the entire neck and minimal fret noise.
Pickup & Tonal Versatility
The exclusive Seymour Duncan Custom 14 pickup captures versatile tones from clean, chiming melodies to powerful, aggressive riffs with dynamic range and clarity—sitting well in mix-heavy productions. A push-pull volume control enables quick coil-splitting during sessions, providing access to articulate single-coil textures and expanding your recording palette without needing to swap instruments.
