In this double issue of Clash, we look backwards at the best album of 2012, and forwards to the biggest prospect of 2013. Our two cover stars reflect this: Bobby Womack, a living legend, and King Krule, a young genius.
Elsewhere, we discover the world of ‘homo hip-hop’, list our top 40 albums of 2012 and announce our Ones To Watch for 2013 in conceptual chapter form.
Plus: Bryan Ferry, Johnny Marr, Rob Da Bank, Brian Jones and a reflection on Dr Dre’s ‘The Chronic’ album.
