Here is the third volume in Chris Macro’s Macro Dubplates Series, and as expected, more rocksteady-rap goodness ensues. This edition focuses on Brooklyn’s finest and Kingston’s wickedest, with top-notch mashups involving artists like Jay-Z, Biggie, Ol’ Dirty Basttard, Bob Marley, Lee Perry, Blackmoon, Dawn Penn, Mos Def, Wayne Smith, U-Roy, Prince Jammy, the Beastie Boys and more. Such a great way to revisit classic hip-hop/dub. Recommended.
