Asasello Quartett: Oriental Contemporary – COMPACT DISCS

After their breathtaking GENUIN debut, these four string quartet rebels are now going one better. Their performing art is sensational; one is repeatedly left speechless over their repertoire choices. Challenging, passionate and without compromise, the works on this CD utterly beguile us. Views from the Orient and onto the Orient by Atac Sezer, Matthias Pinscher and the grand old man of Turkish music, Ahmed Adnan Saygun.
