AKG SRA2 EW Antenna
The AKG SRA2 EW is a compact, lightweight directional antenna engineered for reliable wireless microphone and in-ear monitoring systems in studio and project spaces. Its flat, panel-style design mounts easily on walls, shelves, or racks without consuming valuable real estate in your recording environment. Built with waterproof construction and designed for professional applications, this antenna delivers consistent signal pickup across challenging RF environments, ensuring clean wireless transmission for vocals, instruments, and monitor mixes.
RF Performance & Coverage
Operating across the full 470–952 MHz range, the SRA2 covers all standard wireless microphone bands with 6 dB antenna gain and a focused 70° coverage angle that minimizes multipath interference and room reflections that can degrade audio quality. The 50 Ohm load impedance ensures proper impedance matching with professional wireless receivers, maintaining signal integrity and reducing standing wave losses that would otherwise compromise recording fidelity.
Installation & Connectivity
The passive design requires no external power, simplifying setup and eliminating another power connection in your studio rack. A female BNC connector mates directly with standard receiver antenna inputs, and the included cable runs up to 10 meters, allowing you to position the antenna away from your receiver for optimal RF reception and cleaner signal paths through your recording chain.
